Operations Manager

Reference: ECH/OPS

Skills: 
Previous experience within a medium/large hotel establishment as Operations Manager/senior F & B management level/equivalent
Thorough understanding and experience of hotel operations, in particular F & B, including Conference & Events and Front Office, Housekeeping, Kitchen and Leisure Club
Ability to establish and deliver high standards of performance within the operational team
Ability to coach and manage direct reports to meet departmental targets
Confident and approachable management style
Excellent organisational skills
Experience of HR administration/processes
Personal Licence Holder certificate
Eligibility to work in the UK

<br>Previous experience as Maintenance Manager/similar role
<br>Ability to deal with tasks as outlined above
<br>High standard of customer care for both guests and internally the hotel team
<br>Ability to plan and organise work to ensure issues are turned round quickly and longer term projects, such as planned <br>maintenance is dealt with in a timely manner
<br>Attention to detail
<br>Good communication skills, both oral and written
<br>High standard of personal presentation
<br>Authorisation to work in the UK

<br>What are the hours of work?
<br>The role will be 40+ hours per week, as the business requires, based on 5 days from 7.00 am - 8.00 am - 4.30pm, although the ability to be contacted and call into the hotel to deal with occasional emergency situations is expected.  Evening and night work may be required depending on the nature of the job in hand

Hours: 39+ hours per week - Hours of work will be based on business requirements and cover early mornings, evenings and weekends

Salary/Hourly rate: £28,000 per annum
